ABSTRACT

The article explains fluxgate magnetic sensor design by using double secondary coil. Fluxgate sensor element such as a primary coils, a secondary coils and sensor core. primer coils as internal magnetic field generator and secondary coils as receiver exchange of external field (sensing), so the resolution of fluxgate sensor depend on design of secondary coils element. Magnetic field in the secondary coil will be zero while no external magnetic field, moreover if external magnetic field exist so that exchange of magnetic field will take place in the secondary coil. Based on the analysis of the data was received by the sensor’s sensitivity that was good that is 405,75 mV/mT. The maximum absolute error that was received from the linear function approached above was 0,56 mT, happened in the magnetic field as big as -17.65 mT and the Level of the maximum relative error of the sensor system in this approach was 1,43% at -17.65 mT.
